Building Massachusetts’ Skills to Compete: A Gubernatorial Forum

Date: Wednesday, July 16, 2014, 6:00-7:30 pm

Location: Roxbury Community College Media Arts Center, 1234 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA 02120

SkillWorks, the Workforce Solutions Group, the Job Training Alliance, English for New Bostonians, the Boston Private Industry Council, the Boston Opportunity Agenda, the Boston Foundation, and the Boston Healthcare Careers Consortium, and the Opportunity Youth Collaborative are partnering to hold a gubernatorial candidates forum on jobs and opportunity.  All candidates have been invited.

The issue of jobs – and how we prepare the Commonwealth’s residents for jobs – continues to be an important one in these tough economic times. We hope you will join us for this forum to learn more about the candidates’ visions on jobs and training for the Commonwealth.

The forum will be moderated by Peter Howe of NECN. Click here to find out more information about Peter Howe and his work.

Please be sure to register for this event and share any questions you may have for the candidates relating to jobs and opportunity.

To stay up to date on the event, make sure to use #majobsforum and follow @SkillWorks_MA and @WSG_40 on Twitter.
