Jobs Bill Update & Weekly Workforce Roundup: July 10-July 19

Before we launch into the weekly roundup–some developing good news on the Jobs bill (H.4119/S.2350).  The Senate voted to pass the Jobs bill last night, sending the bill to conference next week.  The Senate’s version includes a $5M direct appropriation for the Workforce Competitiveness Trust Fund, which is very exciting news!  We’ll be posting an action alert once conferees have been assigned, hoping to keep the momentum going on the Jobs bill and the funding for the WCTF. Stay tuned!
